Safe Handling & Reheating Guidelines

Our soups are formulated for fresh handling. Following these guidelines ensures food safety and the best possible quality for your guests.

Storage Temperature

Store at or below 38°F, but above 28°F to prevent freezing. Soups must be kept refrigerated at all times.

Reheating Requirements

Reheat from a chilled state to at least 165°F within 2 hours, and hold at that temperature for at least 15 seconds.

Holding Temperature

Once reheated, hold soups at 150–155°F for foodservice. Do not allow temperatures to drop below this threshold during service.

Never Freeze

Hale & Hearty soups are designed to be fresh, never frozen. Freezing affects texture, separation, and ingredient integrity.

Important: Soups should never be frozen, as recipes are formulated for fresh handling. Freezing can affect texture, separation, and ingredient integrity. Always reheat from a chilled state — never from frozen.
